To the right of each SEARCH button, you can see a "More hints" link. Click on this link to bring up a new window which provides hints for searching a particular website. You may find suggestions in these hints that might cause you to modify the search settings (checkboxes, etc.).
You may leave this "hints" window open for reference or close it as you wish.
